Science party structure:
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience! When you’re planning a party that needs to wow both boys and girls, look no further than our electrifying science parties! We guarantee an explosion of excitement with our hands-on experiments that will leave every child wide-eyed and thrilled from start to finish.
What we do:
- Age group: 6 – 13 years
- Our Science Entertainer will arrive fully equipped with everything needed for a mind-blowing celebration. All you need to provide is a table for the eager young scientists to gather around. Chairs are optional.
- Your child takes centre stage as the star scientist.
- The children will get to feel like real scientist as we run through hands on experiments ranging from blasting rockets to bubbling volcanos. Depending on the age of the children we can typically get through 5 – 8 experiments.

FAQ's
Will you be able to keep the children engaged?
Yes of course, our entertainers are extremely experienced in knowing how to keep children’s minds captivated. From the get go, the entertainer will advise the children the rules and guideline of the party in a fun and positive manner. We want to get the best out of the children and believe using positive reinforcements will accomplish this. Also the entertainer will use suitable dynamics and tailor the party to best suit the children at your party.
Is this party suitable for boys and girls?
Yes, the activities are not gender specific at all. We always tailor the party to suit the age and interests of the children attending your party.
What if I have a mixed age group for the Bopper Science Party?
Not to worry, we can always tailor the party to suit the age group of the kids attending. The Entertainer will make sure the experiments are suitable for the variety of ages present, while making sure the birthday child is the Star Scientist.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled party start time (this is with an allocated car spot or parking within 20 meters from the venue). This gives them adequate time to meet yourself and the birthday child and set up the party equipment. This also gives you an opportunity to ask questions or discuss any special requirements.
When do the children have a food break?
We stop 45 minutes in for the kids to have a 15-minute food break.
When do we do the birthday cake?
We sing Happy Birthday and cut the birthday cake at the end of the party. We help organise the children around the cake, get their big voices ready and create awesome poses for super fun photos.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
The only thing the entertainer will need is enough tables for the children to stand around comfortably to participate in the science experiments plus easy access to water. Chairs are optional as the children tend to stand anyway. Everything they need for the experiments will be supplied by us, including table cloths to ensure there is no mess at the end!
Do I need to do anything during the party?
The only thing you will need to do is ensure the food is ready for the break. The entertainer will arrange the children around the table, assist on serving the food and help with drinks.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved with the ‘Working with Children Check’.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your house/venue as possible. There is a lot of heavy equipment to unload (and reload) and we want the science party to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your house/venue is located. It is also a great idea to stick a balloon on your front gate.
What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance. We are happy to provide you with our Certificate of Currency should you require it for hall bookings, this way you will not have to pay extra for insurance.
Will the children participate in the party the whole time? Should I hire a face painter or jumping castle as well?
You really don’t need any other entertainment taking place at the same time as the party. Children love our parties, and will benefit from all the structured activities alone. Should you really want face painters or jumping castles, its best to schedule them before or after.
What if I run the party outdoors and it rains?
It is important to always have a wet weather plan in place. If your event is cancelled or changed 14 days out from your scheduled date, full payment will apply. Every effort is made to reschedule your party should the weather prohibit it’s go ahead. In order to avoid these cancellation/change date fees we recommend you find a suitable hall you can book closer to the day if your party is outdoors.
